"Great hiking first time experience. There are different indications for each path, aiding newcomers to not get lost in the National Park.
You have to register (able to use one phone for a team registration) before heading to ticket counter. My suggestion is to bring cash for any purchase there.
Make sure to check weather ahead of arrival, else raining could be your headache.
Ask for hand maps for double safety purpose.

Exploring the Waterfalls
When planning your waterfall adventure, remember to check the weather. While a dip in a waterfall is invigorating, heavy rain can make the trails slippery and potentially increase the risk of flash floods in certain areas. Always prioritize safety and be aware of your surroundings. Bringing a towel is essential for enjoying the cool waters.
For those seeking a more challenging waterfall experience, exploring further into the park might reveal less-visited cascades. However, for most visitors, the accessible waterfalls offer ample beauty and a chance to connect with nature's power.
Hiking Trails and Difficulty
For more adventurous trekkers, longer and more strenuous routes exist, potentially leading to more remote waterfalls like Tengkorong or Panchur. These trails can be significantly more demanding, involving steeper ascents and descents, and may require a higher level of fitness. It's crucial to wear appropriate footwear, as some sections can be uneven or muddy. Always inform someone of your hiking plans and estimated return time, especially if venturing onto less-traveled paths.
Navigating the trails is generally aided by clear signage, but having a physical map can provide an extra layer of security, especially if you plan to explore beyond the most popular routes. The park's diverse terrain, from gentle slopes to steeper hills, ensures a varied hiking experience for everyone.
Wildlife and Nature Encounters
While the focus is often on the trails and waterfalls, the jungle itself is teeming with life. Visitors have reported seeing monkeys, various insects, and even snakes. The dense rainforest canopy creates a unique atmosphere, and the sounds of the jungle are a constant companion during your visit.
