"A nice market to browse for local produce or products. Many varieties of vegetables, fruits etc. There are food stalls located towards the back. Can sit for a meal after shopping at the market.
Another nearby building labeled as Tamu Khas sells handicrafts, local kuih (cakes and snacks), pineapples etc. Plenty to see and buy."

"Excellent way to see locals' ingredients and herbs used. You can buy dried fish or pure honey. Some stalls selling fresh veggies and fruits.
There are food stalls at the end of the big building of the market.
If you crossed the road and walk to the other side, you will find more interesting traditional market which opens only on sunday.
Farmers and villagers open their stalls to sell fresh produces at bargain prices."

"What better way to get acquainted with many ingredients that are less familiar to most of us? Sadly, no wild durian and dabai won’t be in season until August."
