What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Pasir Gudang Kite Museum to be an affordable and interesting cultural stop, particularly for those passionate about kites. While the collection is diverse, some reviewers note that the museum's presentation and maintenance could be modernized to enhance the visitor experience.
"Formerly a windmill, the Pasir Gudang City Council has transformed the building into Malaysia's first Kite Museum. Entry prices are very cheap at RM 2 for adults but the museum (like all museums in Malaysia) could have been curated better.
Plenty of interesting factoids that could have been presented better. The design and overall look feels somewhat dated, tired and unattractive to the foreign eye.
But, overall good if you're into kites, layang-layang or local cultural museums in general."
