What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Empire Shopping Gallery offers a diverse culinary scene with unique budget-friendly options like RM2 sushi and affordable Wagyu. However, visitors frequently cite significant issues with mall maintenance, particularly broken escalators and walkalators, which detract from the overall experience and safety. While dining is a strong point, the mall's upkeep needs urgent attention.
"Empire subang need to take action on this vendor so that they’re providing us better.
My recent visit to Kidzoona Empire was extremely underwhelming, especially considering the price of entry. The entire play area shows clear signs of poor maintenance. A large number of games are not functioning, and the ones that are available look old, worn out, and poorly maintained. There are very few toys, and the overall environment lacks excitement and appeal for children.
The hygiene standards were also alarming. The sand play area emitted an unpleasant smell, almost like it hadn’t been cleaned or refreshed in a long time. The floor carpets were heavily worn, giving the impression that they hadn’t been replaced for years. Even the trampoline-like jumping area felt unsafe due to its deteriorated condition. The ball pit didn’t look clean either, raising concerns about whether it is sanitised regularly.
For a place that charges a premium entrance fee, Kidzoona Empire should uphold much better cleanliness and upkeep. Families expect a safe, clean, and engaging space for their children to play. Unfortunately, this outlet falls far below that expectation. Major maintenance and proper cleaning are urgently needed."

"I am writing to raise an urgent safety concern regarding the extremely poor condition of the walkalator in your shopping mall.
The walkalator is currently covered with a broken mat, which not only fails to resolve the issue but has created an even greater hazard. Today, I witnessed an elderly lady struggling to keep her balance while coming down the walkalator. She was literally holding on for dear life and repeatedly saying she was afraid of falling. This was very distressing to watch. After I got my trolley down I ran up again to help her.
Several of us also had difficulty maneuvering our trolleys, and we had to help each other lift them because the surface was so uneven and unsafe. This situation is completely unacceptable for a public facility that should ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors.
It is deeply concerning that such a critical issue has been left unresolved. Must someone suffer a fall or injury before proper action is taken? I strongly urge the management to address this immediately: repair the walkalator, remove the hazardous mat, and ensure that appropriate safety measures are implemented without delay.
Your prompt attention and corrective action will help prevent a serious accident and restore confidence in the mall’s safety standards."

"⭐️⭐️
Visited on 30th August 2025. While the store offers a good selection of products, I’m genuinely concerned about the flooring condition. Several areas inside the outlet have severely damaged floor panels that are uneven and pose a potential tripping hazard, especially for children and elderly customers.
As a customer, I strongly urge the management to address this issue urgently for everyone’s safety and comfort. Proper maintenance will not only improve customer experience but also prevent possible accidents.
I hope the outlet management and mall operator can take swift action to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all shoppers."
