What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the 'amazing' and 'phenomenal' beauty of Bodumohora Sandbank, praising its crystal-clear waters and well-maintained beach. However, some reviews mention issues with litter and a concerning incident with a caretaker demanding alcohol, highlighting the need for responsible tourism and vigilance.
"Amazing, just amazing! Robinson C place for sure!"
yovrtula
"Beautiful place but the new caretaker is out of control! Came to our boat demanding a box of beer. Alcohol is illegal. When I said no he threatened to remove us or damage our boat. Not good for the island or for the Maldives. After the incident 2 guys came and apologised and said he was drunk. I have 6 tourists onboard including 3 children, this kind of behaviour in the Maldives is totally unacceptable. Since the island was taken over we have had nothing but problems."
fish2tan
"Wonderful sea and beach of course but iIt's not a five star only for the plastic and garbage that is still the main problem in all the Maldives islands !! 🙄"
