It's quite a small place so the visit won't take up too much time. I think it is essential to get the talking guide to get the most out of this site.
What I found the most interesting and also heartbreaking, is learning about the actual history of this site and how it was completely mismanaged and ignored for decades. Essentially most of the site was destroyed or lost since it was not considered important and it was on private land. The government also thought building a road was more important than conserving the site.
I recommend visiting this site not only because it is of historical and archeological significance, but also to learn about the practical side of conservation and how it is a huge challenge based on the social requirements of the times."
