What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ta' Fra Ben Bay offers a scenic bay location with generally affordable food, particularly its fish and chips. However, reviews are mixed, with some visitors praising the food and views while others report issues with rude staff, inconsistent pricing, and dry burgers. The Reggae Bar adds a relaxed vibe, but overall service quality can vary significantly.
"Food was quite good, especially for the low price. Both the fish and the chips were tasty.
However, the buffalo burger was a bit dry.
The outside view is beautiful.
Some waitresses were really nice, while some others could show a little bit more care."

"Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t get that far! Looked promising because of the buildings architecture. However the staff were so rude and unwelcoming. Sat down about 5 minutes later we left after we felt it wasn’t worth the prices on the menu. After reading the other reviews I’m glad we gave this one a miss."

"The place is just awful. Rude and dishonest staff, broken toilet, no prices for ice cream. My family and I went into the cafe, took 4 ice creams (there was no price list, no staff to ask the prices either) in the end we paid 16+ euros for 4 ice creams. After asking how that was possible, she said that there was no price tag and you have to ask, the receipt had completely different prices for the same ice creams. The place is awful, the food is awful, I do not recommend it."
