Vacationing in Malta 🇲🇹, had to send some postcards from here 📮

Fun fact, they have a postal museum! Definately worth checking out if you are here. My favorite postcard are of the "Luzzu" boats - they add a pop of color wherever you are in Malta.

"A small and charming Museum in the centre of Valletta. A special journey through Maltese popular history. A great floor with letters that demonstrate all the centuries of history in Malta. Absolutely fascinating to read a letter from 1576, Lord Nelson and a thank you to British school children for cigarettes during WWII. Well worth the entry price and charming service from Shanice. Highly recommended whether you're a philatelist or not. Interactive displays and good for families."

"My favourite museum in Valletta, so far. Good value for money and we could stay however long we wanted to enjoy the artworks. At the third floor there is a post box dated from Queen Victoria's reign. Impressive! And Peppi is the official mascot of the museum. There are old letters which take you back in the past for a journey that you only heard stories about. The photographs of how the post office used to look are amazing. It was such a wholesome experience for me. And the lady from the reception was such a nice and friendly host, she even recommended some places to visit in Malta and talked about getting her own designed stamp printed, soon! Good luck with that. Thank you for the visit."
