Reviews Summary

Visitors praise San Anton Gardens for its beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and free entry to outdoor areas. The free-roaming peacocks are a delightful surprise, and the diverse plant collections offer an educational and relaxing experience. Some paths can be uneven, and certain past attractions like glasshouses are no longer available.

"I visited this park recently and was amazed by the incredible collection of trees from different continents and countries around the world. Many of them were extremely old and beautifully grown—like the giant cactus that looked almost like a full tree. Even the species we usually see small were huge and very well preserved here. It’s impressive how carefully they maintain and protect these plants. A peaceful, unique place for nature lovers. Highly recommended. 👍"

"Lovely old garden, worth a visit even for the locals. Haven't been since I was a kid but lovely to explore on a cool autumn morning when you've nothing else to do. No swans or peacocks though!"

Marcus Zarb

"This is a magnificent place to relax and enjoy nature in Malta. Placed in the heart of Attard and Balzan, the trees and the beauty along with the animals, bring inspiration to take a glance on a weekend. San Antón is a piece of history but also a nice place to sit and listen to the geese and the cats, the water in the small lake and the people walking around."
