"Dear reader,
This is a beautiful old colonial style house and has access to around 90% of its area.
This is a must see if you are touring the island.
It will cost you 400MUR / person, and you can pay by cash or card.
If you’ve been on a journey, they also have a toilet stop! Which is clean and convenient.
We didn’t stay for any food, although others have reviewed this, and I believe this is ok.
We took a walk to the waterfalls (4), and was the main reason for going.
Key note: please prepare, good walking shoes, and mosquito spray. These two are a must.
The walk / hike down is very slippery. You walk down rocks and very small trails.
So … be careful. Take your time.
That said, the views are spectacular! It’s really worth it. My attached video just shows what amazing sights await you.
The house itself is super cool. It’s depicts a story since 1836 I believe.
The house walks you through a family story and has some great pictures and furniture.
From the garden looking back to the house, the backdrop is stunning. On the right day, late afternoon, great pictures can be taken.
I hope you enjoy as much as we did."
