Not a long hike, but a scenic one - Mount Solmar, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
This turned out to be a bit more of an adventure than what I planned. The hike up is simple enough. You go to a gate at this kennel near the end of town, and a man named Enrique gives you the rundown on the path up. One path marked red, one marked yellow. I chose red. A little…

"Had the pleasure of doing this hike twice
June 11 & 13 ... Enrique is a spiritual soul. He will speak to you about the physical energy of the mountain and its positive effects on the human mind. Do try breathing into the mountain slats at the top. Enrique will guide you. Dogs are friendly and Super buddies to have on the hike. Bring water. After the 1st general group stop, prepare yourself to stop twice on the way up if you are not used to heat walk/climb. I say that because oftentimes you do rely on upper strength to pull you up. Your cardio will elevate. Remember, no rush to the top.
Enrique and his guides stay there for quite a while allowing you to see Lands end and the backside as well as the beautiful town of Cabo San Lucas...
I did it twice for a reason... Enjoy ...."

"I was terrified of going on this hike but it was totally worth it. It is hard in the steep parts, but I think Enrique’s energy and good vibes just keeps everyone safe. Do have a carrier for your water bottle so you can have your hands free as you’ll need them going ip and down to grab o to the rocks while hiking. The view is amazing and everything that Enrique taught us was very interesting, one of the highlights of our Cabo trip"
