"We had an incredible experience with Cabo Private Guides! My daughter completed her open water referral course with Diego as her instructor and Xo as our dive master. Over the course of two days, we did four dives near Pelican Rock. Diego was fantastic at ensuring she mastered her skills, making the course both effective and enjoyable.

On the first day, four of our family members joined a snorkeling tour while we dove. The area around Pelican Rock was teeming with marine life! They saw countless fish and a few moray eels—an unforgettable highlight for everyone.

On the second day, we were lucky enough to have the boat entirely to ourselves. The area was bursting with schools of puffer fish, and we even spotted an octopus! Our boat captain did an excellent job ensuring safe and smooth entries and exits, which made our dives even more comfortable. The smaller groups both days were a huge bonus, allowing for a more personalized and relaxed experience.

While my daughter focused on her class, I had the pleasure of exploring Pelican Rock with Xo, whose local knowledge and enthusiasm made the dives thoroughly enjoyable. The rental equipment was in excellent condition, safety was clearly a top priority, and the staff was both skilled and friendly. As a bonus, Xo captured amazing photos and videos of our dives, which were shared with us afterward—such a wonderful keepsake!

My daughter left the course feeling confident and eager for many years of diving adventures ahead. We can’t thank Diego and Xo enough for making this such a memorable experience. We’re already looking forward to diving with Cabo Private Guides again in the future!"

"This scuba diving excursion was absolutely unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to Javi, our instructor. From the start, he was professional, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Whether you were a first-timer or had some experience, he made sure everyone felt comfortable, safe, and confident in the water. He held my hand through the entire process until the was sure I was ready to be on my own.

Javi explained everything clearly, checked in with us constantly, and had such a calm, encouraging presence. You could tell he genuinely cared about giving us the best (and safest) experience possible.
