"December 2025 I just returned from an amazing stay at Club Med Cancun.
Angelica, our waiter at The Buffet, was truly outstanding. She greeted us every day with a warm smile, remembered our preferences, and always went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. Her kindness and attention to detail made every meal feel special.
The manager Francisco (sorry if I misspelled) at the buffet was also exceptional always present, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring guests have a great experience. You can tell the team is well-led and cares about delivering top-tier service.
And a special mention to Dija at the Boutique. Without her, I honestly wouldn’t have bought anything! She was so helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. She understood exactly what I needed, offered great suggestions like the 45 t-shirt , and made shopping a pleasure. She truly went above and beyond and is a gem of the resort.

"We came as a family of four — a couple with two children aged 8 and 12 — for Thanksgiving week at Club Med Cancún, and our experience was overall excellent.
Club Med Cancún has an absolutely exceptional location: a calm turquoise lagoon on one side, the Caribbean Sea on the other, and direct access to great snorkeling spots. For water-sports lovers, it’s hard to beat.
A magnificent setting – The contrast between the lagoon and the ocean creates a unique environment, perfect for sailing, paddleboarding, and snorkeling.
Varied activities – There’s always something to do: sailing, tennis, yoga, trapeze, archery…
An exceptional GO team – All the GOs were wonderful, warm, and very professional throughout our stay.
Special mention to:
Noemi – Super friendly, energetic, and our son loved joining her activities. (kids club 11-13yo)
Paulo and Sara – At the sailing club, always kind, welcoming, and very attentive.
Pablo – At snorkeling, extremely pleasant and professional, even when we couldn’t go out due to rough seas and the national park closure.
Pierre – Exemplary attitude: our 8-year-old daughter needed a band-aid for a small cut, and we ran into him during his break. He took the time to go get one even though he was off duty. A simple gesture but truly appreciated.
The presence of the Chef de Village (GM), Jose? – It was really impressive to see him everywhere: in the morning doing rounds of the resort to ensure everything was perfect, and in the evening leading the dancing and partying with incredible energy.
The hotel is ideal for families – Lots of activities, good organization, and a very safe environment.

The dining at Club Med Cancún exceeded our expectations.
Special mention to “Gabi”, an adorable Mexican abuela who prepares tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, and other delicious homemade specialties right on the spot. Truly authentic Mexican home cooking full of flavor.
The Thanksgiving dinner was on another level:
Seared foie gras
Ultra-fresh tuna sashimi (two huge tunas carved live in front of the guests)
An impressive seafood buffet
And a great variety of dishes prepared with care
It was a festive meal worthy of a fine restaurant.
Points to improve:
Booking La Estancia is difficult – Slots open without warning and disappear immediately.
Some areas are a bit dated – Despite several renovations, not everything is perfectly consistent.

"From the moment my son and I arrived, the reception was incredibly warm and welcoming (thanks Gregory). The first G.O. we met was Will who immediately made us feel at home, giving us great recommendations including offering us sailing lessons from him which we did. That personal touch set the tone for their rest of the vacation.
Next morning I took an amazing HIIT class with Magali, and then headed off to practice trapeze with an outstanding team of coaches. Such a fun and memorable experience! We also took the opportunity to go diving and earn our PADI certification, and Juan Carlos, a dive instructor was fantastic in guiding us through the process and helping us successfully complete it.
The food in Cancun was absolutely incredible, whether at the buffet or the specialty restaurants like Taco Arte (thanks Enrique and Jesus), the quality was consistently top-notch and delicious.
To top it all off, the evening shows were so entertaining and added even more energy and fun to our nights.
A huge shout-out to everyone at Club Med Cancun including the chief of the village Simon for truly living by their slogan “Happy to Care.” I strongly recommend this resort for families and friends alike. We can’t wait to come back!"
