Reviews Summary

Reviews for accommodations in Downtown Cancun are mixed. While some guests praise the excellent value, good amenities like A/C and fast Wi-Fi, and convenient location, others have reported significant issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and non-functional facilities. It appears to be a place where expectations need to be managed, and thorough research is essential.

"Avert your eyes from this place!

I can't stress enough how awful this experience was. We booked a studio for three nights but checked out early because it was unbearable. From the start, the conditions were shocking. The place was filthy—hair and stains all over the floor, mold everywhere in the bathroom, and both the towels and bed were stained. To make matters worse, the shower didn't work, and the entire studio flooded within minutes. Our belongings got soaked, and we had to clean up the mess ourselves with towels and a mop we found.

The bed was disgusting, and the pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. When we arrived, the place hadn't been cleaned at all, and there was zero communication from the host. We reached out for help several times, but the landlord did nothing. We were told to contact Booking.com ourselves for a refund, but we never got any compensation for the nights we couldn’t stay there.

The attached photos tell the whole story. Honestly, it's better to sleep outside than to waste your money here. This place is a scam, and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere!"

Mart “Martjee” VDV

"The price is average but the place is dirty , they have a big ant problem and charge you for cleaning , they didn't clean not once in a week ... Also a light bulb fell out of the ceiling above the bed"

Jerome BG

"We loved our stay here. You should understand it's guest studios, not a hotel, so no one else will be entering or cleaning your room during your stay. It was an excellent value with good A/C, hot water all the time, drinking water, fast wifi, no evidence of bugs, good security & privacy, soap & shampoo, even a clothing iron. Small details they could improve: add some more hooks for hand towels / swimsuits, and provide an extra blanket & extra roll of toilet paper."
