"Lucio Morales stopped us when we missed our ferry to Isla Mujeres on 7/30/2025. If a guy named Lucio stops you wearing XCaret Group shirt at El Embarcadero, run. He will offer you discounts and will not tell you that you have to attend a timeshare presentation at Xcaret hotel. He will even offer you breakfast and transportation. He robbed us of 8 hrs and we were almost scammed! He gets paid $600 per couple he sends to these presentations. The offer was $11,000 unlimited trips to Xcaret hotels for a 25% discount. Told by salesman we would pay $300 per trip for a room for 2-8 people. Our family trip was for 8 people so it sounded appealing. When shown the contract, we realized is a discount ONLY!!! I asked the guy to do the math and he refused then I did the math. $300 per person per night is $2,100 multiplied by 8 people equals $16,800 minus 25% =$12,600 per week vacation to XCaret. Tell me how many times a median income family would be able to travel for that much? Read what you sign and if they offer you alcoholic drinks DO NOT ACCEPT! If we had signed this crap, we would have never been able to afford a vacation. Use a travel agent instead! We paid $1,100 per person and airfare was included times 8 is $8,800. What we got from Lucio was only a discount, we still paid $121.25 per ticket to visit XCaret park totaling $970.00. Buy online 5 days in advance and costs the same or buy through Expedia and such or pay full price."
