This was almost a 5-star experience until the very end, when the manager wouldn't listen to us and gave the wrong hotel to the taxi driver, sending us over 10 km past where we needed to go and leaving us fearing for our safety and being grossly overcharged for the ride home, spoiling what otherwise would have been a lovely evening."

"Me and my wife were staying at a resort and wanted to go out for a nice dinner since we were sick of eating the same food at the resort so we caught an uber and did some research to see what is the best, most popular seafood restaurant in Cancun this place came up so we went. The food was good we ordered a whole red snapper fish deep fried and 2 plates of shrimp.
Everything was fine till the bill came I paid by visa and told the waiter I would give him a cash tip, I gave him 10% and left when I got to the front of the restaurant the waiter ran after me and decided to scolded me and say I am Obligated to leave minimum 18% tip ,I was honestly shocked that he chased me out of the restaurant and demanded more money . This is not acceptable specially, since the food bill was over $250 CDN dollars
Just because we are on vacation and are tourist it doesn’t mean we came with buckets of money to throw on around."
