Reviews Summary

Visitors generally find the Museo de Arte Hermila Domínguez a nice, worthwhile stop for experiencing Mexican art, particularly from local Chiapas artists. The welcoming staff and central location are often highlighted as positives. However, one reviewer experienced an issue with the admission fee being misrepresented, leading to a negative interaction.

"Nice museum of Mexican artists for a short visit. The director was so welcoming and they were eager to explain the local attractions of Chiapas to me. Recommended!"

Ellye Walsh

"A man and a woman were sitting near the entrance; the man was wearing some kind of uniform, so he did work there. The man tried to tell me the museum cost 20 pesos.
20 pesos isn't much and if it had been a donation to the museum, I would have gladly paid, but I really dislike being taken for a fool.
I knew the museum didn't cost that much so I told him I'd be back the next day and he called me a name.
I had been visiting museums all day and the people had been amazing. It was disappointing."

Diana Turner

"It's a great museum, definitely a must visit. Very close to central park of Comitán."
