What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the garden's beautiful and natural atmosphere, offering a tranquil escape with a diverse collection of plants. However, many note that the garden could benefit from better maintenance and clearer plant identification signage. The current closure of the museum and unpredictable shop hours also detract from the overall experience.
"Opening hours are 9-16h. After 4pm they don't allow you in. Needs updating! Also, the museum is now closed (being renovated, but no work was apparent) and the little store with handicrafts is opening only sporadically and unpredictably. Sadly, no plants for sale. Not the Garden's best moment. 😬"

"Beautiful and natural garden, quite large too so you can stroll around all the paths and sit on benches to take in the wonderful atmosphere. Lots of varieties of all kinds of trees and plants.
Could not give it 5 stars, as it lacks some maintenance. Many garden beds were partly empty or abandoned looking. The signs in the garden beds that indicate what herb or plant it is are very worn out and it is not possible to read them to learn what the plants are and what they are good for.
The museum was closed during our visit.
Overall, it has the potential to be a truly magical and rejuvenating space in the city. Hopefully, it gets the funding and care that it needs to be transformed to its full potential."

"We all need to know this garden to know more about plants... Let's hope the local government will give them enough money to make it bigger and create benefits from it to be economically sustained..."
