"I didn't know what to expect. Came on recommendation from a local guide (Alfonso). Spent 3 full days. Made food. Walked the trails 5 hrs or more a day (to be marked soon). Cool groomed forest trails, mowed pastures, morning bird feeding at 8 am. So many habitats to explore.
I saw at least 30 different species a day on my own. Antonio (local guide) did a tour with another couple and found even more species.
I loved the ponds and rivers and all the maintenance to the property for birding is evident.
Had a dip in the pool. Had everything I needed and the host and staff were wonderful!
I will come back with friends!
The single rooms were delightful with local art and makaws visited me daily on the porch as did the lovely dogs.
Horses were beautiful and so healthy and free to roam."

"We visited to hike and bird for the day, not for the lodging. The birds were fantastic and the owners very welcoming. The ranch also runs a nonprofit, so they accept donations at the main house to support their wildlife rehabilitation work."
