Most visitors find the CAS Monterrey to be an organized and efficient place for visa processing, with helpful staff and quick turnaround times. "Everything was very organized and fast.
In my case, I went to process my visa renewal and only submitted the application confirmation form, passport, and previous visa.
They don't let you in with a phone. I rented a locker across the street for 50 pesos.
From the time I arrived until the time I left, I was 15 minutes late."

"The staff at the entrance are a true organized and silent mafia. Even if you show up for your appointment with the relevant documents (as required by the Consulate), they ask for copies and printouts of documents that weren't requested just to scam you. They collude with neighboring copy and print businesses, charging you extremely high prices ($70 to $100 for a printout and $10 to $20 for a copy). They receive commissions from these businesses, and due to the current need, no one has charged them.
Note: @American Consulate and @NL government, how is it possible you allow this? In the photos, you can see the businesses that are colluding."
