What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Playa El Requesón is celebrated for its stunning natural beauty, particularly its unique sandbar and incredibly clear, shallow waters teeming with marine life. Visitors appreciate its family-friendly atmosphere and the opportunity for camping. However, some note that the bathrooms could use maintenance and that entrance fees are charged by unofficial caretakers.
"Perhaps the most iconic of beaches on Bahia de Concepcion, and for good reason. Can be hit or miss with the crowds, and you certainly don't want to be anywhere near here during Semana Santa. The bathrooms need work, but be sure to make a donation and tell the caretakers they need to fix them."
Josiah Roe
"This is a fabulous unique beach. At different times of the day the sandbar that connects a section of the beach is washed out by water, but you can walk around in ankle deep water and swim out further. We just came to lounge and the fee was 100 pesos. You park wherever. It was windier than some of the other beaches so keep that in mind if it’s not a hot day."

"This place is beautiful…the water is amazing and you can camp here or just spend the day..toilets are available"
