"Nice, informative and iconic historic place, even though this fort did not see battle during the famous 5 de Mayo.
Due to renovation and repair work, we had to see the displays going back in time instead of a linear historic way, but that did not take away from what it has to offer... very well explained exhibits with English and Spanish depictions, many will be surprised when they learn about the relationship between this war and the American Civil War..
Take your time learning g some new facts and stroll around the Fort o. A nice day enjoy..."

"Admire how this little chapel transformed into a fort and assisted the Mexicans into a decisive victory against the French. Inside you can see an exhibition of flags, uniforms and guns from that era. When you are done you are rewarded with spectacular views of the city. The best way to go up the hill towards the fort is to visit the underground tunnels, so you can stay cool along the way."
