"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Pink Store — Worth Every Pedal Stroke from Canada!
Yeah that’s right, we rode our bikes from Canada to Mexico just to eat here! Well not really, we did the riding cause it sounded like fun. But when we heard about this place, we had to go. And as it turned out, we would not regret that decision.
By the time we rolled into Mexico, our legs were noodles and our souls were held together by dreams of tacos.
Enter The Pink Store — a literal oasis of flavor and joy. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles warmer than the desert sun and chips & salsa that could revive the dead. The staff treated us like champions (which, to be fair, after 2,700 miles of pedaling, we kind of felt like we were).
The food? Absolutely amazing. The grilled chicken and veggies tasted like victory, the tacos were tiny miracles, and the guacamole was so fresh I’m pretty sure the avocados were picked that morning by someone who whispers affirmations to them. Every bite felt like a reward for every uphill climb we cursed on the way here.
And then… the store. Oh, The Pink Store doesn’t just feed your stomach, that’s just the gate wasy drug to trinkets, crafts, pottery, jewelry — you name it, they’ve got it. We went in just to “look around” and came out with a ceramic armadillo, two shot glasses, and some deep questions about how we were going to fit it all on our bikes.
Bottom line: The Pink Store isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a pilgrimage destination for hungry adventurers. The food’s amazing, the service is world-class, and the vibes are pinker than my sunburn.
10/10, would bike across a continent again for those tacos. 🌮💖
— Two Dusty Cyclists, Fueled by Faith, Salsa, and some poor chocesi. Except for eating here, that was one that we got right."

"The Pink Store (la Tienda Rosa) is iconic in Palomas. Filled with beautiful handmade items from the interior, it's a visitors dream to spend time browsing the many aisles for just the right gift or household decor item.
And, after shopping, you can either relax over coffee or have a full meal. The last time I went, a friend and I chose to have lunch there. The food is quite tasty and costs less than on the US side. In warmer weather you can also eat outside on the plaza veranda which is really pleasant. Strolling musicians will serenade you as you eat and will fill requests for popular Mexican songs. They will expect a nice tip for their musical entertainment. You can refuse the music as they approach your table, but being serenaded is part of the delightful dining experience there.
Visiting here is a great day trip and completely safe. Do remember to bring your passport with you to make crossing back into the US quick and easy."
