Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Atlixco Historic Center for its beautiful colonial architecture, vibrant floral displays, and pleasant climate. The main plaza is a lively hub, and the local market offers authentic flavors. However, some guests note that rooms can be small and noisy, and dining can be expensive, though breakfast is generally well-regarded.

"Is not the worse or best place to stay, they have really good staff working here specially Gerson the guy at the reception and the waiters but they need some upgrades I. The rooms like the showers heads and the towels.
Also the rooms are very small, one other thing is dinner is kinda expensive here it runs between 225 - 350 per dinner. Breakfast buffet is really good and affordable 180 pesos per person."

"I asked for 2 double beds and only got 1 double and twin. Supposedly, they were booked, but it didn't seem like it. It was too loud the room doors don't close tight so you get all the noise from outside. Our room did not have a phone, so for any room service, we had to call from our personal phones. We did tell them, but supposedly no connection for it. The phone their is ok. It was a last min decionsl we made to stay at this hotel but don't plan on coming back. Beds are not very comfortable"

"What a beautiful place! After 39 years in the USA, my husband was finally able to return to his beloved Mexico and take his family - our son, Skye, and myself. While googling hotels, I came upon Villas Arqueológicas and made the decision to check it out. We loved the reviews, called and made our reservations. We stayed there from April 18-28 of 2022. When my husband told one of his nephews where we’d be staying, we learnt he was a security guard there! The hotel, it’s ambiance, staff, locale, wonderful. Clean - everyday; food - excellent! I ordered grilled salmon one evening and asked the cook if he could grate ginger on it (my speciality), he didn’t have ginger but I did! Bought it in the market! He very kindly accommodated my request. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will certainly return. I am experienced in hotel hospitality so I know how/what good service is and should be. I got what I expected. Keep up the great service! Thanks for making my first visit to your country memorable!
