"Great little museum in the wall of Campeche. Free but give a donation. Great place to spend up to 45 minutes on a hot day."

"We visited the Museo de la Ciudad on a Wednesday in the evening. Even when they close at 6 pm we were allowed to go inside at around 5:50 pm. The museo is very small but the staff members there are really nice and welcoming. You can see some information about the city, city wall and the pirates. On top you are able to walk on the wall."
Benjamin Bahmann
"From someone who comes from Quebec and has lived in Quebec City within the walls of the old city, it is great to see a similar set up in Campeche. Most of the walls have been kept and this section of San Carlos offers a nice view on Campeche from the walls. Not super well maintained but it was free, so hard to complain! It is worth a stop and while the museum is small we learned a lot about Campeche's history."
