"This is a HUGE market in San Miguel de Allende. We had a fantastic shopping experience and it's one market that should not be missed. Everything from meals to wheels are sold here. The produce was fresh, there were hats, shoes, clothing, pottery, jewelry, light fixtures, and trinkets of all shapes and sizes. The vendors were kind and not 'pushy' in any way. If you're a visitor to SMA, this is a stop for you. Even as a resident, you will find some terrific bargains."

"We had a lot of fun walking the Mercado. Lots of jewelry. Small gifts and homemade gifts. It's beautiful. The people are very nice and welcoming. They have boots they are not expensive. If my suitcase wasn't so heavy I would have bought a pair."
