"Found some old photos, so here is what I remember from my trip in 2006. The spiral pyramid was odd, I believe it is the only one of its kind in the country. The big pots, or wells, or whatever they were. Got some cool IR shots with one of my early infrared-modified cameras. Certainly a neat little worth visiting if you are in the area."

"Amazing site. Nobody was there and this was unfortunate we had a clear view of Popo and Itzta. The site is not huge but the same ticket gets you into Cacaxtla. The museum has amazing pieces in it. Come visit and see Cacaxtla as well. You won't regret the extra 15 minute drive to experience Xochitecatl which is even older than Cacaxtla."
