What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the absolutely breathtaking panoramic views from La Bufa, often calling it a highlight of their trip. The adventurous drive up, especially via ATV, is a memorable part of the experience. However, the road conditions are challenging and not for the faint of heart, and a small entrance fee is required.
"Beautiful views when the weather is perfect, can see all the way to Puerto Vallarta, Bucerias, La Cruz and the whole bay. The drive up and down are not for the faint hearted, steep, narrow, slippery and windy, but worth it. There was a charge to hike to the lookout point, but someone else paid so I don’t know how much per person, take peso’s (it wasn’t much)."

"Rented ATV for trip up mountain. Gorgeous ride. Enjoyed the outlook. It was a highlight of our visit to San Sebastián."
Teri Kelly
"Beautiful view of Bahía de Banderas. I do want to note the google maps stops at a large clearing that looks like a parking area, but it’s not the place yet! Keep driving up the road, all the way up and then there is a toilet, parking area and antenna you will see and that is the right place! Pay $50pesos per person to the guy there and then it’s like a 10min walk to the viewing point…just gorgeous!"
