What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Playa Chahué is praised for its beauty, cleanliness, and tranquility, especially during the low season. While some visitors enjoy the waves, others caution that the sea can be rough and unsafe for swimming. The availability of beach clubs and proximity to accommodations are noted positives.
"This beach was close to where we stayed so it became our “go to” beach. It was never very busy and the beach was clean. Some of the other reviews say it is not safe for swimming but we would disagree. If you can not swim it is not safe. But if you are confident in the water it is a ton of fun to play in the waves and if you swim out just past where they break you can bob around with no problem. There is a public shower and bathroom but they do cost a few pesos to use (worth it if you need it).
We spent New Years here as well and it was a great evening listening to live music on the beach."
