What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Playa La India is a stunningly beautiful bay with calm, clear waters and smooth sand, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. While accessible only by boat, it can get very crowded with large tour groups, impacting the natural experience. Visitors recommend choosing smaller tours or private charters to better appreciate its charm and protect the delicate coral reef.
"If you take the boat tour make sure to stop here! The waves are calm and the sand is smooth."

"This review is specifically for snorkelling at Playa La India. While there is a relatively healthy coral reef here, I was disappointed with the limited marine life on the reef, especially inside a national marine park. It can also get extremely crowded, with literally hundreds of snorkelers at the same time. The big catamaran operators seem to really like it here. The snorkelling at Playa Maguey is much better and significantly less crowded. Even Bahía Tangolunda with all its resorts has better marine life, despite the lack of coral."
