"Carlos at Lunazul is a phenomenal instructor for beginners. He had me catching waves my first day out and I had never surfed before. I was honestly a little uncomfortable being in the ocean, but felt at ease in no time. He gave excellent, easy to understand instructions and was with me every step of the way building my confidence when I felt unsure. I did a 3-day package, which I also recommend as he kept building upon the skills from each lesson. By the third day I was catching bigger waves and getting up on the board almost every time. The staff at Lunazul are also super friendly and provided everything I needed to get started. I chose Lunazul because they were recommended on a Reddit thread and it did not disappoint…Ask for Carlos!"

"Memo aka Panda was an excellent instructor! He had us up and riding waves the first day. The next two days we gained knowledge in reading waves and board mobility. This was my first time at age 59 and I felt completely safe under his tutelage. I will continue to train to become stronger and gain more endurance before the next time in surfing in Sayulita!
