What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mirador Cascada Los Azules is praised for its stunning waterfalls and refreshing swimming pool, offering a beautiful natural escape. However, visitors frequently caution about the challenging, steep, and slippery trail, as well as occasional safety concerns and unclear fee structures.
"The views and waterfalls are great, yet the path taking you there is pretty dangerous and confusing. In top of that, we had a random Mexican guy approach us and come with us down to the waterfall. Once we came back up, one of his friends was waiting on top with a couple dogs until we paid them $100/pers. This was a very dangerous experience."

"Beautiful hidden place! Be prepared for a hike though. I recommend you bring mosquito repellent, sunscreen, water and if you’re up for a swim then a bathing suit! It’s like a 20min hike down and be careful it can get slippery! It can get pretty steep, since you pretty much are going down a canyon but the view is beautiful!"

"What a beautiful place. It's exactly what anyone needs when looking for relaxation away from the daily routine. The waterfall is breathtaking. Taking a dip and just feeling mother natures beauty take you in is quite an experience. If you have the time, the hike down is totally worth it. Make sure to bring the correct attire for the hike down and a bathing suit if you wanna take a dip in the water. It is quite a steep hike downwards so make sure to go with someone who knows their way. Completely worth it. Beautiful place."
