What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT) for its fascinating architecture, engaging historical exhibits, and vibrant art displays, all at a very affordable price. While some note a need for more upkeep in certain areas, the overall experience is highly regarded for its cultural richness and lively atmosphere, especially during events.
"It’s a very nice museum with fascinating architecture and a clear, engaging presentation of history — from cave people to the U.S.–Mexico War. The photography exhibitions were excellent, especially the photos about the U.S.–Mexico border."
YMK WEBFEST
"Fascinating walk through the history of the Baja California peninsula from the Age of Discovery to the Second World War. Again, the US is the aggressor. I was most interested in the models of ships and diorama. I used to make those."
David Collins
"I want to rate the Cultural Center higher, but as a whole, it needs some love and care and money put into it. The signs in the botanical garden have been highly vandalized and the statues are plastic replicas. The art exhibit in The Cube was really interesting though and I do recommend it. For $5/person it's a great deal and totally worth it."
