What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Cenote Nohoch's stunning natural beauty, crystal-clear waters, and the incredible guided cave tours led by knowledgeable guides like Cruz. The overall experience, often enhanced by package deals including lunch, is considered a great value. Some visitors noted that arriving during off-peak hours significantly improved their experience by reducing crowds.
"We paid the full package experience with entry, guided cenote cave snorkeling with a great bilingual guide (Cruz) and buffet lunch. After all this, we could still spend some time in the park and enjoy the weather in the shades on our hammocks. We paid 700 pesos per person + 70 pesos for a locker. This includes the equipment for the cenote cave snorkeling. The price is fair compared to the high-end service and beautiful life-long experience.
I would recommend coming in a less popular time of the day, e.g. we arrived at 10:30 and barely saw a few other visitors during our guided cenote tour.
Sunscreen/insect repellent: not allowed before going into the water, but not needed anyway. The cave is dark and the bats eat the mosquitos.
Parking: free
Kid-friendly: yes
Bathrooms: clean"

"Had a brilliant time being taken through the caves on a tour with Cruz. The caves themselves are amazing and the water is crystal clear, so definitely take some goggles or a mask. Cruz is very knowledgeable and pointed out lots of interesting areas around the caves. Saw some bats and fossils imprinted in the limescale! Would thoroughly recommend and the tour ended with a yummy lunch! My photos just don't do it justice"

"I've been to a bunch of cenotes over the years and if you are going to one Cenote let it be this one. It has so much to offer; Crystal clear water for swimming, an amazing cave tour (with Cruz), options for snorkeling, you can go diving, lots of fish and bats to see, you can chill on the hammocks or just get your feet a pedicure from the baby fish.
Did not feel overly hyped and touristy even thought it is. They have life jackets included but you don't have to wear them. They include the snorkel and lifejackets with the admission price which 550 pesos which is expensive for a cenote but it includes a 45 minute tour and an underwater flashlight, snorkel and life jacket. Chang rooms and washrooms were fine, you can put your belongings in a cubby hole for free or pay 70 pesos for a locker. We did not pay for a locker but left our valuables in the car.
Highly recommended."
