What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Parque Caña Hueca is a popular green space in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, praised for its extensive running trails, outdoor gym, and sports facilities, making it ideal for exercise and family outings. However, some visitors have noted concerns about park maintenance and occasional access issues due to gate closures or private events.
"I walked about 20 metres from my car and was then ordered to leave by a loud voice on a public address system and by someone else who chased me and who rudely told me I could not walk in this park with pets. I have 2 very small dogs who were on leashes. I follow instructions if they are published…. They were no signs anywhere. What a shame that dog owners are unable to enjoy this park. I’m surprised by the experience and won’t be going back ."
MARY JOSEPHINE GILL
"Nice park but why are almost all gates closed ? Would be easier to have them open so you can get in faster instead of walking all around hoping to find an entrance. Could be better maintained but it’s a budget issue as all of it in this city. Nice shadowy paths on a very hot summer day. I liked it. Cool
Mango trees outside by the way"

"Great park to exercise your body. You can run, play, do different activities with friends and family related to exercises, etc. There you can ride a bike with four wheels!"
