"The archeological sites is impressive with a large number of building being restored with newer areas recently recovered. If available, the evening light show is marvelous. I would definitely recommend having a guide to explain the building of the main temple, the ball court and the governors palace."

"The ruins without the ridiculous amount of tourists. It was so nice and peaceful there! The entire area was well maintained without tourists trampling on all the grass. The ground was more lush, much more fauna around. We weren’t swarmed by people offering to give us a tour, but there were staff throughout the grounds who were available to answer questions. Much better experience than Chichén Itzá."

"Arrived with a tour group from Mérida. Rich history and stunning views. The area appears well cared for and protected. Most areas are uncovered so wear sunscreen and having an umbrella is helpful to give shade."
