Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Centro Histórico for its stunning beauty, rich history, and vibrant atmosphere. The colonial architecture and charming streets are a major draw. However, some visitors have noted aggressive vendors in certain market areas, which can be overwhelming.

"Beautiful place, quiet, safe and with incredible views wherever you go, I only recommend not going to the street of hunger and the market since the people in the food businesses are too insistent, they harass and bully you into eating in their business, I was suffering a panic attack because of this situation since they block your way and don't let you advance."

Marie Alcántara

"A very beautiful magical town overall."

Andrés Anaya

"Visiting the center of Valle de Bravo is undoubtedly a worthwhile experience, although it requires some advance planning due to its distance. From Mexico City, the drive is considerably long; it takes almost three hours at a leisurely pace to get there, making the distance an important factor to consider.
However, once you arrive, you realize it's a truly beautiful place. The charm of its architecture, its cobblestone streets, the central plaza with its church, and the proximity to the lake create a very picturesque and relaxing atmosphere. It's ideal for a weekend getaway and enjoying a different atmosphere than the city itself. Despite the length of the trip, the beauty of the destination makes up for the effort."
