Reviews Summary

Trompo Mágico Museo Interactivo is a highly recommended educational and fun destination, especially for families with children. Visitors praise its engaging, hands-on exhibits and unique attractions like the 4D Werika ride. However, some guests have experienced significant wait times for entry slots, and a few noted hygiene issues in the restrooms.

"Came with friends for the June free opening. It reminds me of exploratorium in San Francisco, just with more VR technology and lots of panel info. As an adult, I am not as amused as kids which is fine.

The line after line is a bit unpleasant. There is this place that we get in a long line just to get an entrance time. By the time we spent 30 minutes waiting to get in a time slot, they told us the next slot is like 4 hours later😂. Of course I opt out.

I can see kids would like this place. The VR experience for magic towns in Jalisco is cool.

I probably wouldn’t come back unless I am with kids."

"I highly recommend this interactive museum with children. ♥️ We spent 4 hours there yesterday and my 10-year-old son & his buddy didn't want to leave. For myself and my 13 yr old 2-3 hours is good.

Educational, interesting, interactive and there is even an outdoor sports area to test your speed, strength, skills.

There are tons of hands-on activities for every age group.

Beautiful renovated space, clean, spacious. Even very nice bathrooms. I even saw a tiny toddler sized toilet in the women's bathroom.

Bring a jacket/sweater for indoors because the air conditioning was very strong.

Bring a hat/sunscreen for outdoor activities.

The 4D Werika activity (at extra cost) is worth it for people 1.07 m tall and above. At the box office they will give you time options available to participate if/when you buy the Werika ticket. Werika is a beautiful display of all the scenes of Jalisco from a bird's eye/drone view, as if you were flying. Note: it can be quite nauseating. So don't eat a full meal and then go do that immediately 🤢

There are also VR activities for those age 12 and up.

Staff are friendly , helpful and plentiful to explain how to use each station. We went yesterday btwn 2-6pm and it wasn't busy at all.

It is located across the street from Palcco and there is a large outdoor paid parking lot beside (just north) of the JAPI entrance. 80 pesos for 5hrs wasn't bad at all.

There is a small cafeteria and mercado inside JAPI for a quick bite (or bring your own picnic to eat at their lovely outdoor space).

General admission is $150 pesos.
There is discount pricing for minors, seniors, and very young kids under 3 may be free, but check at the on-site box office.

4D Werika is 300pesos regardless of age BUT includes admission. (must be at least 1.07m height)

*note: majority of it is in Spanish so working knowledge of Spanish would make the most of your experience. Some staff spoke English (ie 1), some instructions were bilingual."

"Went today with our family our kids are older in their 20s but had our young nieces with us. Everyone had fun. Good lessons and exercise for all. The only complaint I have is none of the bathrooms had soap. I told them the first bathroom didn’t have any and they said ok we will let them know and said there were others that I could go to. I went to the other one and no soap too. Laughingly I told them uhm there’s none there either. I was curious decided to check the others none of those bathrooms had soap in the women’s bathroom. So you have people using the bathroom all day not washing their hands with soap and touching everything 😨😫 that’s extremely dangerous. We left probably 2 hours later and I checked again just to see if they filled them up and they never did. 😖"
