"After renovation it looks much better. The fortress is well equipped with mobility infrastructure for people with disabilities so everyone is welcome to visit it. The ticket price was 30MDL per adult very affordable from my point of view. You need to follow the signs to the office where they sell the tickets because they cannot be purchased at the entrance. Other than that the Fortress has several levels which are opened for the public. Definitely worth visiting."

"It’s a 5 watchtower castle. The fortress Soroca is located in the centre of Soroca city approximately 160 km north of Chisinau. The castle forms part of the old medieval chain of castle fortifications along the Dniester River.
During the Turkish War of 1667-1683, the forces of John Ill - king of Poland, successfully defended the castle against the Ottomans.
It is a beautiful architectural landmark with stairs, leading to the top where you can see Dniester river and the surroundings. Entry is 30 lei.
Luckily it was opened few days before our visit after a 2 year renovation."
