The affordable entrance fee and opportunities for hiking and swimming are frequently praised. Some visitors noted the presence of snakes in the lake and occasional mosquito issues, but overall, the park is considered a must-visit for its pristine environment.
"Amazing national park- a must visit if you’re in the area. Entrance fee 4 euro per person.
Some of the lake was dried up but it was still beautiful.
When we were here (August 14th, with sunny weather and about 35 degrees) the water was very warm, maybe 25 degrees and you could comfortably sit in the water without being cold.
However!!!! Do not swim in the lake if you are afraid of snakes. They were swimming everywhere, both big and small ones. I don’t think they were dangerous though and mostly kept their distance. But watch where you put your feet when walking into the water."

"Great trail suited for all family - nature at is best! Tickets cost 3 EUR per adult, no cost for children (also included in the yearly national park card on Montenegro).
The trail have shadow all the way, nice places to stop for a picnic, but note there are mosquitoes. We were at the end of July so the lake wasn’t at his best but still everyone entered the water at the end. We took the wood boat - note its maximum 4 people including children’s in the count, it cost 10 EUR for 1 hour including life vest and it was great. Try to do it more in the late noon so there will be parts with shadow to sail to.
We jumped to the lake from the boat but it was too much swinging so we did it also at the end after we gave back the boat and it was great. Highly recommend."
