"The old railway station building in Herceg Novi was built in 1934. The railway line was built in Boka Kotorska during the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The first train arrived in Zelenika on July 16, 1901, and even after the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, trains continued to operate on the Gabela-Uskoplje-Zelenik route until 1968, when the decision was made to shut down railway traffic. The two-story building of the old railway station, built of white stone, has today been converted into a small hotel and restaurant, is extremely beautiful and is one of the symbols of Herceg Novi."
