Podgorica was a city that attracted me less than other cities in Montenegro, but among the places I visited and saw, one of the places that impressed me the most was this church. The gilded frescoes inside the church make it look more magnificent. You can visit the church for free. Reviews Summary

Doclea is appreciated as a genuine Roman ruin offering a glimpse into Montenegro's past, particularly for history enthusiasts. While some find it underwhelming due to its undeveloped state, others enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the chance to explore freely, especially the areas near the Moraca River. It's best approached with managed expectations as a historical site rather than a polished attraction.

"Ok take this place for what it is: a relatively poorly protected Roman ruin. If you keep that in mind you will have a lovely day imagining yourself as a Roman. There is the formal side and then across the street a real treat bc you can clamber past ruins to sit on the bank of the Moraca. Lovely when the weather is nice!"
