What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Borova Suma is praised for its beautiful pine forest offering ample shade and its crystal-clear, refreshing waters. Visitors appreciate the natural, secluded feel and the therapeutic sulfur springs. However, some find the rocky terrain uncomfortable and note the lack of services like sunbeds and umbrellas, especially outside peak season, with one review mentioning crowded conditions and high prices in July.
"Secluded, rocky beach with crystal clear water. There were no services, umbrellas, sunbeds or lifeguard pre-season (mid-June 2025). The trees provide plenty of shade, if you don't mind sitting on the rocks.
There is a ladder for climbing in and out of the water."
András Rusznyák
"Perfect for a dip before lunch at Higo restaurant, which is a 2 minute walk away. We visited beginning of June 2025. We climbed down the ladder to access the water which was crystal clear and refreshing.
Restaurant and toilets were not operating possibly as it is pre-season. No sunbeds, umbrellas at the time we visited."

"July, dirty water, too crowded, 10eur for very hard wooden sunbeds. Same price for full day or 1 hour till closure."
