"Lovely 2 mile walk along the beach from Essaouira, needing to paddle across the river which is very shallow at this point. The old palace is in ruins with no information about it, but still interesting to see. We walked back across the road bridge and the road - not as pleasant but ok."
Susan Braddock
"Really cool abandoned Sultan Palace near the village. It takes literally 7 minutes from the entrance of the village to the palace. Wondering around the palace was one of the coolest things we did in the Diabat village. Taking a ride in an ATV or stroll with a horse ride is nice, too. Please don't forget to visit the Jimi Hendrix Cafe after the visit to relax and to dine or a cafe! Highly recommended visit 👍"

"This is supposed to be Jimmy Hendrix house. Camel ride worth it but seeing his house a waist on my opinion. But definitely do the camel ride or 4 wheelers or both"
