Reviews Summary

MACMA is praised as a beautiful, quiet haven showcasing 19th and 20th-century Moroccan art and unique motorbike designs. Visitors appreciate the knowledgeable staff and the intimate atmosphere, though some find the entry fee a bit high for the museum's size.

"What a pleasure to discover this small and beautiful art museum tucked away in a quiet arcade in the heart of downtown Marrakech/Gueliz. It’s a little pricey in terms of entry being a private museum but overall it’s worth the price if you appreciate (or want to discover) 19/20th Moroccan art & objets d art. (The paintings are mainly by Europeans but in the associated and nearby Matisse Gallery there are exhibitions of contemporary art by Moroccans.) Very nice staff, too! It’s a quiet haven compared with other crowded attractions in the city. I’ll definitely return!"

Aidan O'Kelly

"Really good for what it is, which is a small, focused museum. Lots of the exhibits were memorable and arresting. We had an impromptu explanation from one of the curators on the relative influences on a bookcase from Syrian and Moroccan traditions. You don't get that level of expertise often. A really enjoyable experience.
Google Maps was no use in helping us locate the entrance, though. Hope that's sorted soon."

Steven Courtney

"Very good Museum full of artwork and historic items displayed how life was in Morroco over a century ago. Then you have the different created motorbikes placed inside the museum which fitted really well."
