Reviews Summary

Visitors describe the Mouassine Museum as a magical sanctuary, offering a peaceful escape from Marrakech's vibrant energy. The collection of African instruments is fascinating, and the beautifully restored historic house adds to the charm. Many rave about the rooftop terrace and the opportunity to attend live music concerts.

"I don't often write recommendations, but I feel like I have to after this magical experience.
We went in through an alley, and was honestly a little in doubt if we were going to the right spot. Then at the entrance we are met by a Podranea Ricasoliana (had to look the plants name up), falling like rain, almost covering the side of the building. Then we walk through the museum, getting exciting history of African instruments and seeing them, and being followed by the beautiful Podranea ricasoliana, all the way up to the terrace, where we sit under a canopy of it, and drink mint tea.
We had just come from the busy Place Jemaa el Fna, and stepping into the museum was like a sanctuary of silence and calm. There were almost no one else on a Saturday afternoon.
Honestly one of the most magical experiences in Marrakech."
