Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Cactus Thiemann, calling it a stunning and fascinating garden with an incredible variety of enormous cacti, offering excellent photo opportunities. Many highlight it as a unique gem, even surpassing other popular gardens, and appreciate the friendly camels. Some note it's a bit off the beaten track and requires careful planning for access.
"What a stunning and fascinating garden to stroll around in! Sooo many varieties of cacti and so many excellent photo ops! Some of the cacti are enormous and far-reaching into the sky.
It is important to note that you cannot access the ‘Cactus Forest’ unless you have a ‘shooting pass’ ticket, which is more expensive, however, my Partner and I didn’t feel like there were any missed photos, as a result, because there are still so many super-tall and large cacti that tower over you in the rest of the garden.
I HIGHLY recommend visiting if you’re interested in a different sort of garden and somewhere slightly off the beaten track (there were maybe 8-10 of us in total there), or if you just love gardens, plants, or cacti, specifically. A beautiful and very cool place!"

"Absolutely stunning place with fields full of different species of cacti. Worth the visit. There is a street construction (07/2025) close by, don’t give up, you can reach the place still."
