What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors are captivated by the potential for birdwatching, especially spotting flamingos, and the unique natural phenomenon of the river meeting the sea. However, some find the experience underwhelming if water levels are low, and a few have noted an unpleasant odor in the area.
"Our tour guide explained that the sea and the lake meet here. However, when we visited in November, the lake was almost dried up, with very little water left. We didn’t find anything particularly impressive or interesting to see. If you’re very close by, you might visit, but I wouldn’t recommend traveling from far away."
Elif Berk
"We were able to stop on a bridge crossing the river a mile or two from the mouth. There was a good variety of birds: glossy ibis, flamingo, ducks, stork, etc."
Mike Stones
"This place is not suitable for sitting or working or anything because it smells like a machete😷. This place is considered one of the dangerous places for human health and the health of the citizen or tourist so we ask the state to reform or find a solution to reduce the bad smell😷, I advise anyone to do not visit this place because u will get sick 🤒."
