"When I began my studies here, I had high expectations of receiving professional and supportive treatment. I believed that the educational environment would be inclusive and encouraging for all students, regardless of their language proficiency. Unfortunately, my experience has been quite the opposite. The teacher predominantly focused on students who already had a higher proficiency in the language, leaving beginners like me feeling overlooked and unsupported. This lack of attention and guidance has been incredibly frustrating.
As a beginner, I found it challenging to keep up with the lessons and often felt left behind. The initial enthusiasm I had for learning French quickly diminished due to this discouraging environment. Instead of fostering a love for the language, the experience made me question my ability to ever become proficient. It has been a disheartening journey, and I hope that future students do not have to face the same obstacles. This experience has fundamentally changed my perspective on learning French, making me realize the importance of finding a truly supportive and inclusive learning environment"

"I would not recommend spending your money for French classes here. I took two and was quite unsatisfied. The pedagogy is antique authoritarian classroom style - a teacher stands in front talking and writing on the board for almost the whole class, and students are mostly just expected to copy what the teacher says and writes into notebooks. Very little participation, and when you do have the chance to talk it is just to perform trite dialogues. Both of my teachers were personally nice, but both constantly late and ending classes early. Both took personal phone calls during class time. Both gave the impression of arriving without any preparation for the class at all. The student atmosphere you'll be surrounded by is adolescent, students tend to gender-segregate and compete to be teacher's pet while not learning much - thus why they are in French classes after presumably having taken many years of French in school already. You can teach yourself French more efficiently than this Institute will."
