What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Penduka Village is praised for its unique mission of empowering local women through craft creation and its beautiful waterfront setting. Visitors highlight the delicious local cuisine and the opportunity to purchase handmade souvenirs. However, some find the journey to the village challenging due to road conditions and the presence of mosquitoes.
"A little difficult to find -trust the locals, not your navigation system!- but Penduka Village is well worth a visit!
The staff are friendly. The information they provided during our tour of the village and the working areas presented a side of Namibia which many do not realise exists.
We stayed in our camper directly on the shores of the lake -a wonderfully lush and open setting- so I cannot say anything about the rooms. Our dinner of local specialities -prepared and cooked on site- allowed us an experience which is hard to find in Namibia! Thanks for that!"

"Can't rate the rooms as we just went for a meal, which was really good and reasonably priced. Besides, the view is amazing, yet reading the place is a puzzle."
